  • Friday, we rang a doorbell that went dong-ding instead of ding-dong.
  • Saturday, we rang a doorbell that stuttered when it went ding-dong.
  • Sunday, we rang a doorbell that flashed instead of going ding-dong...
    (the person that lived there was mostly deaf).
  • Monday, we rang a doorbell that didn't ring at all (it was broken).

This week continued their trend of a 50% teaching appt cancelation rate. Nothing terribly exiting, so he made Fri & Sat more interesting by doing goofy stuff on his bike that resulted in wrecks. Minor damage only; didn't rebreak the wrist.

Matthew's been spending P-Days preparing for his return to school, and battling BYU-I over class transfer credits. (Transferring credits from LCC has been a problem for all 4 kids who have applied.)

Last transfer, Sister Gerstner was working on BYUI stuff, and when she left, she still didn't have housing, so she joked that she might just have to live in a tent... Shana, I'm sure she'd love a roommate; let me know if you're interested in saving money by not having to rent an apartment.

Matthew's had a yucky cough for 3 weeks now, and it's starting to remind him of when he got a cough for several months a few years ago, aggravated by excercise.  He's also sick w/ a congested nose again.
