More flat tires this week, and Matthew ended up giving a tube to his comp to make one good bike between them, and borrowing another bike so they could get to where they needed to.

This week's culinary adventure: buying a loaf of french bread for sandwiches and finding it completely hollow, so cutting-n-patching and using it for the crust of a quiche instead. Then, it was lawn work for someone followed by 3 days of pouring rain (with someone inviting them in for a dry-off-and-visit in the middle). Sunday evening they helped hide eggs for their DA's kids' Easter egg hunt. Finally, Monday morning was spent battling their "high efficiency" not-as-smart-as-it-thinks-it-is clothes washer, trying to get it to finish a wash-n-spin cycle.
